How To Ring In The New Year, Philly Style

We can’t believe it’s the end of the decade, but we are SO excited to welcome 2020 with open arms! There is so much going on in the City of Brotherly Love and we have curated a list of our favorites that we think you’ll love. From firework shows to special dining experiences, we’ve got you covered. Whether you’re celebrating with family, friends, or a significant other, this list has an option for everyone.

Dinner Specials

Kick 2019 to the curb with Tria! Their multiple locations throughout Philly are celebrating the New Year in a variety of ways. From a wide sparkling wine selection to dinner specials, your tastebuds will enjoy leaving 2019 behind, too!  

End 2019 in a mysterious way. Check out Valanni for their Masquerade Bash. Dress your best and don’t forget a mask! A premium open bar along with music and dancing all night will be one for the books!

Res Ipsa is a dine in option for your New Year’s Eve celebration. Bring your own bottle and head to Rittenhouse Square for an Italian family-style menu with plenty to choose from and upgrades galore.

Head over to High Street on Market in Old City for a New Year’s Eve dinner to remember. For a reasonable price, guests can enjoy a family-style four-course feast of their choosing for the whole table. 

For the Family

Looking for a kid friendly way to ring in the new year? The Please Touch Museum is the place for you. Their annual Countdown 2 Noon has everything from make-your-own confetti to creating a mummer’s day parade outfit. The events leading up to the ball drop at noon will be spectacular for all.

The Franklin Institute is also having a NOON Year’s Eve party! Bring your kiddies for live performances, make and take noisemakers and a scientific firework show. You can’t go wrong with a hands-on experience!

Watch an early firework display for all from 57 floors up. Take the family to One Liberty Observation Deck for their Not Your Parents’ New Year’s Eve Party. This 6 p.m. celebration will give you plenty of time to celebrate with the little ones in your life without keeping them out too late. 

Dance the Decade Away

Dance your way into 2020 at River’s Casino Dance Party. Enjoy a three hour open bar and music all night long with DJ Naj. Finish off the evening with a view of the firework show at Jack’s Bar & Grill.  

Bourbon Blue in Manayunk is hosting a 2020 bash that we think you’ll love. What more could you want with dancing, drinks, a three course meal, and a champagne toast? With a variety of package options, you’ll be sure to ring in the new year right!

Camden Adventure Aquarium is turning into New Year’s Eve Adventure Aquarium After Dark. Dress your best and head over to ring in the new year with stingrays and sharks alike.
