The Local 98 indictment has made it to the Wall Street Journal

The long arm of the law has finally caught up with Philadelphia labor boss John “Johnny Doc” Dougherty. On Jan. 30, federal prosecutors filed a 116-count indictment against Mr. Dougherty, several members of his International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 98, and a Philadelphia city councilman. The charges involve public corruption and the embezzlement of more than $600,000 in union funds.
